Mission

The Library Media Center is a vital entity within our schools. The Library Media Center will offer services, technology and programs that will support staff and the school community.

Library Media Center services, technology and special programs will:

support various curricula to help students analyze, interpret, evaluate, extrapolate, synthesize, read, think, speak, and listen clearly

co-operate with classroom teachers to enable students to become lifelong learners

provide access to resources and information for users whose needs change rapidly.

Deer Valley Library Media Center programs, services, and technology aid students to become self-motivated and independent inquirers. Students will learn to become positive, contributing members of society.

April: Poetry Month

May: Battle of the Books (4th grade)

May 14: All books due to Library Media Center. LMC closes for inventory.
